A healthy hot chocolate that’s made ragi, almond milk, and dark chocolate – all the good stuff and it was perfect! Try this one, you really won’t regret it 🍫✨
Ingredients:
– 1 cup Almond Milk
– 1/2 cup Water
– 2 tbsp Ragi Flour
– 2 tsp Ghee
– 2 tbsp Cocoa Powder
– 2 tbsp Jaggery
– Pinch of Sea Salt
– 3/4 cup 70% Dark Chocolate
Instructions:
-In a saucepan, heat ghee and sauté ragi flour until the rawness disappears for about 3-4 minutes.
-Gradually add water, stirring continuously to avoid lumps until all the water is incorporated.
-Mix in cocoa powder until well combined.
-Slowly pour in almond milk, stirring constantly, and allow the mixture to come to a boil.
-Let the mixture thicken slightly, then add a pinch of sea salt, vanilla and jaggery. Cook until the mixture thickens to your desired consistency.
-Turn off the heat and stir in the dark chocolate until melted.
-Pour the hot chocolate into a cup, garnish with chocolate shavings, and a cinnamon stick.
