Ingredients:
2-3 tsp ground coffee
210ml (7 fl oz) water
A vanilla pod
10 tsp sugar
Whipped cream (optional)
Chocolate chips (optional)
Method:
1. Pour water into a saucepan and add sugar. Bring the mixture to a boil.
2. Add a vanilla pod to the resulting syrup.
3. Use the sugar syrup instead of water to brew the espresso or coffee in any preferred way.
4. Pour the coffee through a sieve into a serving glass.
5. If desired, garnish the finished drink with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
