In this video, I show you 3 reasons why your espresso machine (whether it’s a Delonghi Dedica, Delonghi ECP, or Breville Barista Express) might not be delivering water. Either the water tank isn’t seated properly, or the water circuit isn’t primed, or there could be an internal component issue.
Normally, the water system just needs to be primed. To do this, just engage the pump, and alternate back and forth from the brew group to the steam wand, but spend more time trying to pump through the steam wand, as that gives the circuit the least amount of resistance, and should help get the air out of the system.
